Bio
Johnson O. Oguntuase is an Assistant Professor of Hydrographic Science at the University of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Mississippi. His research focuses on developing processing strategies and algorithms that utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to achieve high-accuracy positioning and seafloor mapping using cost-effective sensors. These include Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receivers, Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), and bathymetric SONARs. In addition to his research, he teaches Kinematic Positioning, Applied Acoustics, and Applied Bathymetry in the Master of Science in Hydrography program.
